I think it's impossible not to be fascinated when I look at the world of people. Looking back through history, it is truly admirable that humanity emerged from the cave age and has written a long, winding story spanning thousands of years to arrive at this moment. It’s often said that humans become most creative in times of difficulty. Undoubtedly, the discovery of machines and electricity brought about a major transformation in the human world. Then came television, satellites, the internet, social media, computers, mobile phones, and now AI. Towering buildings, massive living complexes and of course, the money game that must be played to access all these dazzling toys.
And now, here we are pausing for a moment to take a breath. Turning around to look again. Behind this ornate and modern world, I just described, we can also see:Wars. Material and emotional harm is inflicted not only upon strangers, but often upon those closest to us. Discipline and rigid rules trying to take the place of love and compassion. Ambition, anger, jealousy and the severe damage done to nature, to animals, to Gaia to the Earth itself.
But let me ask you something:Do you know what true beauty really is?True beauty is shining your divine light on Earth. The beings of nature never forget to shine with their inner divine light, day after day. Gaia, the Great Mother, welcomes all with divine wisdom and stands ready to nourish everyone with her love. At its core lies this sacred essence: to shine with divine light.
Yet many humans have rejected their own inner light. They chase after a glittering candlelight outside of themselves, and in doing so, they lose sight of their own brilliance, unable to see it, unable to radiate it.
What we witness today is humanity dragging behind it a great shadow, one shaped by ambition, jealousy, anger, and emotional numbness. In truth, we might even call this a deep residue; A sediment of love forgotten. Because the essence of this Earth and of the universe is Love. Where love cannot exist, light cannot grow.Where light cannot grow, darkness begins to gather and that darkness is nothing but the residue of forgotten love.
So now, let us ask:What is the Shadow, truly?
The shadow is the part of us we’ve suppressed, rejected, or forgotten. It is a part of us that was once born of love but was cast into darkness.
Many associate “the shadow” with evil but the shadow is not evil. The shadow is simply love that has lost its light. All the emotions that have been repressed, exiled from awareness fear, anger, shame, feelings of inadequacy. Eventually form a kind of energetic sediment within. This sediment silently influences our behaviors, our relationships, even how we perceive the world.
The shadow is suppressed love; it is forgotten light. And in truth, every shadow is like an inner child waiting to be embraced once more. Rather than facing their own shadows, many people project them outward. They criticize, blame, explode in rage. Yet much of the “darkness” we see in others is often a reflection of a part of ourselves we’ve never made peace with.
A short excerpt from my book reminds us:
“The shadow is not evil. The shadow is a rejected part of the self. It is a memory once born in light, now trapped in the depths of the heart. And even the darkest shadow is love waiting to be remembered.”
When we make peace with the shadow, our light deepens because true enlightenment is embracing darkness with love. True compassion is not just embracing what’s beautiful. it’s being able to love what is broken, wounded, or hidden. And today, what humanity most needs is inner reconciliation because every piece of ourselves we have not made peace with continues to reflect outward as conflict in the world.
And that is why..."Remembering your light is the beginning of healing. Embracing your shadow is regaining your wholeness."
That is how we become truly human. And that is when we begin to shine in full alignment with our Divine Essence.
