ABOUT

SomNur van der Kraan is an Istanbul-born artist and spiritual guide whose work bridges fine art, consciousness studies, and multidimensional healing. Raised in a lineage of artists spanning four generations, she studied painting at Mimar Sinan University (1982–1987) and later worked in stage and costume design, sculpture, and art direction. Her artistic path included contributions to major cultural events such as the 1st Istanbul Biennial, and her solo exhibitions have appeared in Istanbul, Bodrum, Washington D.C., and Manhattan. Her artworks are listed in Artprice and the RKD Netherlands Institute for Art History.

Alongside her visual arts career, SomNur has maintained a strong presence as a writer. Since 1989, she has written columns and essays for various newspapers and magazines, focusing on art, alternative therapies, animal rights, and women’s rights. Her writing consistently reflects her commitment to consciousness, compassion, and social awareness. From 2018 onward, through her online spiritual work, she continued writing on spirituality, personal development, and the Great Transition, frequently emphasizing humanity’s awakening process in both her teachings and her written reflections.

Her healing and consciousness work has evolved over many years. Since 2002, she has facilitated personal transformation processes through workshops, art-therapy programs, and group practices for both adults and children, integrating creative expression with inner development. Between 2018 and 2022, she conducted more than 200 online spiritual sessions, meditative journeys, and transformation-based programs, cultivating a strong community and guiding thousands through themes such as awakening, emotional healing, and energetic alignment.

Through her platform “MysiaLuna Light Sages,” she shares channelled messages, meditations, and spiritual teachings. In recent years, she has expanded into digital and energetic art, integrating symbolic frequencies into her creative process.

She currently lives in a nature-surrounded village in Greece, where she continues to paint, write, and develop high-frequency spiritual guidance practices.

my journey

The path I walk today began long before I had the words to describe it.As a child, I grew up in a family of artists, surrounded by creativity, beauty, and a deep sensitivity to life. Art became my first language a quiet space where I could express what I could not yet explain. From an early age, I also knew there was something different in the way I experienced the world. Over time, I came to recognize this as a natural sensitivity an intuitive and healing awareness that allowed me to perceive emotions, underlying truths, and subtle layers beyond what is immediately visible.Learning to live with this awareness within the structure of everyday life was not always easy. For many years, I offered guidance and support to others through this sensitivity, while outwardly continuing my path as a professional artist.Over time, these two aspects of my life art and inner perception began to merge. What started as painting gradually evolved into a deeper exploration of consciousness, healing, and human transformation.Since 2002, I have guided individuals and groups through personal transformation processes, integrating creative expression, meditation, and energy-based practices. Through this work, I have witnessed how awareness, when gently supported, can lead to real and lasting change.Today, we are moving through a time of profound transformation. As this collective shift has become more visible and grounded, I have naturally stepped forward, allowing all aspects of my work to come together more openly.Everything I create now through writing, art, and guidance arises from the same intention:to support a deeper remembrance of who we truly are.
